HOW TO GET THERE

1. By Car

Coming from the South (Rome and surrounding areas)
Route from Rome:

  • From Fiumicino/Ciampino: After leaving the airport, take the ring road (GRA) heading north.

  • Connection to A1: From the GRA, follow the signs for the A1 motorway northbound (towards Florence/Viterbo).

  • Exit for Viterbo: After about 70–80 km on the A1, take the exit for Viterbo Nord.

  • From Viterbo to the Circuit: Once in Viterbo, follow the signs for Strada Cassia Nord, continuing until Km 90+300.

  • Estimated travel time: Around 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Coming from the North (Florence and beyond)
Route from the North:

  • From Florence or other northern cities: Take the A1 southbound, then follow the same directions towards Viterbo.

  • Exit for Viterbo: Take the designated exit and follow signs to the center of Viterbo.

  • From the center to the Circuit: Continue on Strada Cassia Nord to Km 90+300.

  • Estimated travel time: Depending on the starting point, but typically around 2 hours from Florence.

2. By Train

From Rome

  • Departure station: Depart from either Roma Termini or Tiburtina.

  • Train to Viterbo: Use the regional train service to Viterbo (usually Viterbo Porta Fiorentina or Viterbo Centro station).

  • Journey duration: Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes.

  • From Viterbo to the Circuit: Upon arrival at the station, you can take a taxi (see “Taxi” section) or, if available, a local bus to reach Strada Cassia Nord, Km 90+300 (about 15 minutes by car).

From Northern Cities

  • Connection via Rome: If arriving from northern cities (such as Florence or Bologna), take a train to Rome, then connect directly to Viterbo.

  • Local transfer: Follow the same instructions from Viterbo to reach the Circuit.

3. By Plane

Main Airports
Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports (Rome):

  • From the airport to central Rome: Use the train, bus, or a taxi to reach central Rome (Termini or Tiburtina stations).

  • From Rome to Viterbo: Once in Rome, continue by train or take an intercity bus (Cotral) directly to Viterbo.

  • Total duration: The transfer from the airports to Viterbo generally takes about 2 hours, depending on connections and traffic.

4. Taxis in Viterbo

To complete your journey, especially if arriving at the train station or city center, it is advisable to use a taxi.

From the bus/train station to the Circuit:
A taxi ride takes approximately 10–15 minutes from central Viterbo to Strada Cassia Nord, Km 90+300.
