A long weekend for the fourth round of the Coppa Italia di Zona that, starting from Saturday, with the official time trials, had begun to show signs of spectacularity. The fight for the conquest of the pole positions had indicated protagonists and proposed hierarchies that then, starting from the first moves on Sunday, made the Viterbo asphalt incandescent.

Mini Gr3 Under 10 – Kuvtunenko emerges in the final

Three official phases and three different protagonists in Mini Gr3 Under 10 which, on Saturday, after the timed practice session, had indicated Zayne Burgess as the main actor. The pole position conquered by just 23 thousandths on Andrea Papageorgiou and 28 on Wynn Godshalk, however, foreshadowed races with a far from obvious outcome. The Cypriot Papageorgiou won in the pre-final, ahead of a combative Ryan Di Munno. The two, starting from the front row in the final, had to deal with a fierce group of rivals. Under the checkered flag of the final, therefore, the Ukrainian Kuvtunenko won, ahead of Papageorgiou and Josh Bergman. Among the Lazio drivers, chasing points for the Coppa Italia di Zona, the one who stood out in the category was Alessio Ottaviani, who made a streak by taking home a full haul of points. In the general classification, Antonio Mastroianni now leads, ahead of Luigi Santilli and Angelo Carbone, absent in Viterbo.

Mini Gr3 – Achille Rea ahead of everyone at the finish line

The weekend began with a convincing pole position won by the Swede Elton Hedfors who, with just over a tenth, beat the British Mason Robertson and the Portuguese Teo Pelfrene behind him. Achille Rea, first of the Lazio drivers, was fourth at 232 thousandths from the pole, with Domenico Coco immediately behind him. To underline the good work done on Saturday, Hedfors then also took the victory in the pre-final, with Rea fighting and forced to give up the victory in the sprint. The final also sees the comparison between the Lazio driver and the Swede repeat, but this time it is Rea who wins under the checkered flag, with Hedfors second and Pelfrene third. Full of points for Rea who, despite being his first in the Coppa Italia di Zona, forcefully enters the standings. Federico Neri, leader in the general classification, maintains the lead, but finds himself with Coco on his heels, just 12 points behind, after the results in Viterbo.

OkN Junior – Girardello leaves nothing

En plein for Gioele Girardello in the weekend in Viterbo. With an interested eye on the next appointment with the Italian Championship, the Venetian driver has put everyone in line starting from the timed trials on Saturday. A large category and batteries needed to filter the pack and deliver the 36 places on the grid. In battery A it is once again Girardello who prevails, while in battery B the victory goes to Oleksander Legenkyi. Once the data needed to compile the pre-final grids had been collected, the race was a monologue by Girardello, who left Albert Tamm and Daniel Miron Lorente to fight for what was left of the front row. The leader of the Coppa Italia di Zona standings, Marco Quintili, with full points before Viterbo, was the best of the Lazio drivers and finished in fourth place. The final was a one-off with Girardello crossing the finish line with over 6 seconds of advantage over his pursuers. A great battle for the podium with the excellent Federico Mirabella, first of the drivers in the standings, beating Nikita Botte in third. Despite a final that was below expectations, Marco Quintili firmly maintained his lead in the points standings, with Andrea Carbone and Matteo Pau following at a distance.

OKN – Silkunas wins the final, Carraro the absolute protagonist in the Coppa

The absolute pole position, achieved in the qualifying tests on Saturday, had, rightly, indicated the Lazio driver Andrea Carraro, among the most anticipated protagonists. The 125 single-gear classes, during the Viterbo weekend, confirmed to be the most participated and, therefore, also for the OkN, the batteries were necessary to assign the 36 useful places for the pre-final and final. In battery A the victory went to Carraro, while in battery B the victory went to the Lithuanian Markas Silkunas.
From the front row Carraro and Silkunas to play the pre-final with the Lithuanian ahead of the Lazio driver. Same epilogue, then, also in the final with Silkunas first ahead of Carraro and Juliusz Ociepa third. Daniele Spaziani, second among the Lazio drivers
